GET AHEAD OF WINTER - QUALIFY IN SAAS FEE

Train pre-season, get qualified, impress and get hired – earn your stripes as an instructor this season

INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WORKING THIS WINTER!

Our 10-week instructor course in Saas Fee course is an ideal option if you want to be teaching by the winter. The pre-season ski and snowboard instructor course means that you could be a BASI Level 2 qualified instructor by the end of November. During the course, the group leader can help you with applying for jobs. Past trainees have gone to work at ski and snowboard schools in Europe, Canada and Japan after the Saas Fee course.

Our partnership with Les Elfes International means they will be recruiting directly from the course, plus other ski and snowboard school Directors will be holding interviews too. This course is a great option if getting a ski instructor job or snowboard instructor job after the course is your priority.

The qualifications are with BASI (British Association of Ski Instructors) – check out the video to see what their trainers think of the course.

TOP TEN THINGS TO DO IN SAAS FEE

  • With plenty of history surrounding the village get out and explore the valley – it’s been open to tourists since 1830

  • Try out Saas Fee’s sleak new wellness centre, Aqua – Allalin – we can’t wait

  • After a day on the hill, head to the Popcorn bar for a chilled out beer and check that GoPro footage!

  • Go grab your favourite pizza from Don Ciccio – and take your buddies too

  • Go further – ski/ride the iconic resort of Zermatt, under the watchful eye of the Matterhorn

  • Hold tight – slackline in the local Saas Fee forest

  • Go further still – if you loved the pizza you’ll really love lunch in Cervinia in Italy. And you get to ski/ride Zermatt first

  • Test you palette – and the local Swiss wines – down the valley in Sion

  • Pitch perfect – 5 aside football for any weather

  • Day off the hill? Try some tricks in the Saas Fee skatepark instead

Take a quick tour of the Park Hotel, in the heart of Saas Fee plus job interviews during course

THE PEARL OF THE ALPS

Saas Fee offers skiing and riding year round and the resort is surrounded by 13, 4,000 metre peaks – giving its nickname the “Pearl of the Alps”. Car free, the town is relaxed and chilled out but with some great bars. You can park there of course but it’s just as easy to fly to Geneva airport and train/bus to resort.

Accommodation is in the fabulous “Park Hotel” just a few minutes stroll from the lifts and centre of the village. Comfortable lounge, bar and terrace for catching the afternoon sun, and an ideal spot for a BBQ. Ensuite twin rooms with balcony’s to chill out on, make the end of the day just right.

The ideal location for our 10-week autumn instructor programme, Saas Fee is the training ground for some of the world’s best ski and snowboard teams. You might end up sharing the mountain with the likes of Freddy Kalbermatten, Burton Global team local from Saas, or maybe a racer or two like, Bode Miller!

Pistes are perfectly groomed, just what you need to hone your technique for the BASI Level 1 & Level 2. And if you like park, you can find world class (read “big kickers”!) and plenty of lines.

And all this before the northern hemisphere winter kicks off.
