The location of Irwin's is ideal. You are less than a 5 minute walk from the town centre – far enough away not to be bothered by noise, but close enough to get involved if you want to! Rooms are comfortable 2 person, en suite (please contact us if you wish to pay for a single room supplement) with satellite and movie channel TV's, and fridges in some rooms. There’s plenty of space to unpack and relax. We believe our accommodation at Irwins contributes significantly to trainees' well being and this is why we do not use hostel – style accommodation.
After a day on the mountain, the Peaks’ team usually relax in the 10 person jetted pool before heading into town together for dinner. Also in Irwin's Mountain Inn are a fitness centre, sauna & steam room, free wi-fi, ski / board lockers, coin laundry, snack and drinks' machines, ski / board waxing area, plus conference area where indoor sessions take place.
In the mornings, the bus stop to Sunshine Village is right at the front door, so no lugging gear and bags around. We have chosen Irwin's because it is a family business who employ friendly staff and make our crew feel at home. One thing you can expect from your stay in Canada is to be pleasantly surprised by how polite and friendly everyone is! Our experienced course leader lives in the hotel and is on hand to help with your personal development – and give advice on the best bars in town.

We all eat dinner together at our favourite Banff restaurants - steak houses, pasta places and Asian cafés. In 2007 the Peaks’ trainees told us this was one of their favourite aspects of the course and the envy of others living in Banff. A nutritious diet will help keep you healthy and fit to work those ski legs day after day on the mountain. It’s also great for a catch up time with the rest of the crew and the course leader for updates, concerns and to find out when the next Peaks fancy dress night is. Lunch is eaten on the hill and can be subject to discounts for season pass holders. Generally it is not nearly as expensive as eating on the mountain in Europe.
