Peak Leaders Ski and Snowboard Instructor Course Morzine Week 6

Sunshine has been the word for week 6 in Morzine. So much sun! The weather seemed like it has changed its mind and went straight to spring. Luckily we have enough snow now! The training has picked up incredibly now. We just entered second half of the course and the guys are clocking shadowing hours as well as personal training.

Snowboarding Verbier

Piste, off piste, bumps, variables, park- you name it. It has been warm and the mid term is approaching which is obvious by the amount of people on the slopes. The word for shadowing is not to get lost in the busy places. Snowboarders and skiers alike are looking more and more solid every day. There has been lots of skills and tactics learned in the last weeks and it all coming together. The Peak Leaders crew is already one of the most stylish on the hill. The training is demanding and we are in our week 6 now so everyone is getting bit tired and some rest is more then needed. It is not so uncommon to go to bed straight after dinner to be fresh for the next day’s lessons. Life of ski/ SNB instructor is rewarding and fun BUT everyone is finding out it is also hard work and being good means training hard! Night skiing is becoming a must do for some guys while the rest is just enjoying a chill evenings. On friday we went to Ice hockey to cheer the local Penquins team vs. Rouen and guess what? The locals won so we could celebrate. Perfect way to enter the weekend!
