End of Training
This week was the last week of training for the team before the BASI Level 2 exam. This weeks focous was on piste performance and central theme. Everyone was well and truly giving the training everything they had, and I’d just like to say how proud I am of the whole team :-)
But it wasn’t all work this week. On Wednesday we were able to do a bit of relaxing including some curling at the local sports centre. It was definitely muchos muchos fun, but not when you have Jack and Con boasting about their natural northern talent for curling.
Friday was the last day of training and it being the last day of training means fancy dress. The guys and gals dressed up in some ridiculous costumes but was very amusing. I have no words to describe the outfits so you must look at the pictures below :-P
Finally on Saturday the kitchen staff at L’Atelier and I organised a BBQ for the whole team as a thank you for the last enjoyable 8 weeks. Aswell as plenty of sausages and chicken the guys in Roddy’s, one of the ski trainers, group bought him a bottle of champagne to say thanks for all his efforts.
Well with all the training out of the way there is only one thing to do, BASI Level 2. I’d just like to say good luck to everyone and I know you can do it. Go rip it up gang!!!
